Summer Faith-Building Programs for Youth
Camp Hanover
June 18-August 12, Camp Hanover (Mechanicsville, Virginia)
Savor Christ’s love and presence in your life while participating in your favorite camp activities. Conquer your fear of heights on the high ropes course, soak up picturesque water views while paddle boarding, and practice your aim at archery. Sessions last one or two weeks. Meet new friends, explore your faith, and make memories that last a lifetime.

Middle School Conference
June 22-July 21, Massanetta Springs (Harrisonburg, Virginia)
Massanetta Springs Middle School Conference is a transformational program that welcomes hundreds of middlers and their leaders from all over the country each summer. For 2023, participants will examine Psalm 23 in a deeper way and explore the familiar words through keynote, recreation, workshops, and encounter groups.

Convergence
July 18-23, Randolph-Macon College (Ashland, Virginia)
Teens often hear that what they read in the Bible and learn in church has nothing to do with what they study in science classes – or they are told religion and science are always in conflict with each other. Discover the realm where these topics meet in Convergence, a weeklong experience for high school youth.

Expanding Horizons
June 24-30, Maryville College (Tennessee)
Expanding Horizons is an annual, week-long summer theology program for high school students. Explore the Hebrew concept of shalom in conversation with the Native American “Harmony Way.” Examine the Old Testament and Hebrew language with Dr. Phillip Sherman, explore local Native American heritage sites, and join this information together in Bible study and discussions with MC students.
