On behalf of the Personnel Committee, it is with mixed emotions that we share the news that Barbara Chalfant has recently accepted a call to serve as Transitional General Presbyter and Stated Clerk at Missouri Union Presbytery. Barbara's last day in the office will be June 9th, and she will begin her tenure with MUP on June 24th.
We know Barb's gifts for serving congregations will be well utilized by Missouri Union Presbytery. Her laughter and vivacious energy have been a gift to the POJ, and she will certainly be missed. We wish you so many blessings, Barb. We send you to Missouri with well wishes and trust that the Holy Spirit continues to wrap around you and guide you along your path.
